Once upon a Time in the West – Opening Scene Map

Here’s a little map I made with Tero H. It’s about the opening scene of Leone’s Classic Once upon a Time in the West. A few hours of sketching and viewing the shots lead to this:

 

And a high resolution pdf version. Plenty of little details missing here and there, and some distances are probably a bit skewed. However, it’s a good start and helps to place the events in their respective places. We tried to figure out the directions too, but they seem rather impossible to decipher, as the sun jumps multiple times during the scene (check for example what happens when Harmonica talks for the first time). Feel free to use the piccy as you see fit.
