It seems that Hastik & Steinmetz have been busy publishing about the scene. Just found another short paper called Computer Technology – A Tool in the Hand of the Artist?, which was published at the Euromedia 2012 conference.
Added another demoscene article, Demoscene Computer Artists and Community by Hastik and Steinmetz, published in the Proceedings of CERC 2012.

After a long wait, the demo video collection MindCandy 3 is finally released, and will start shipping on Nov 25. Included are both a Blu-Ray disc and a DVD. The price in Europe is about 20 euros.
